Road Map for the Rest of Think, Don’t Mash!
There are two more parts of the Think, Don’t Mash! series that I have planned at the moment. As I previewed at the end part five, part six will be looking at applying the five moves approach to a different fighting game. I would hope that after part five, people would be fairly convinced that starting with a simple plan works for Street Fighter V, but they may be understandably skeptical whether this applies once you leave the world of Street Fighter.
Part seven will be about trouble-shooting the five moves approach when things aren’t going as well as you hoped. I’ve touched on some of these things throughout the series, but I want to clearly lay them out and present them in a single video. I have seen comments from people basically saying, “I believe you and I’m trying this but I still can’t get out of bronze.” This final video is meant to address those concerns.
I may come back to this series, but after part seven, I want to set it aside and make some other fighting game videos that I’ve had in mind for a while now. They will still have the same fundamental goals as Think, Don’t Mash!: demystifying fighting games and helping people play and enjoy them as much as possible. Stay tuned!
